Sim Sanders Algeria, a Franco-Algerian joint venture between the SIM Joint stock company Group

Sim Sanders Algeria, a Franco-Algerian joint venture between the SIM Joint stock company Group and SANDERS (a subsidiary of the AVRIL Group) has inaugurated its new livestock feed production plant, located in Aïn Defla province’s industrial zone, at 140 km west of the capital.
This new state-of-the-art industrial tool is the first Algerian animal nutrition factory whose construction is based entirely on European standards. This investment of 1.3 billion dinars (11 million euros) gives Sim Sanders-Algeria a production capacity of 150,000 tons of food per year. The plant will particularly value by-products and local raw materials such as carob, almond hulls or olive cake and other imported raw materials.
Through this investment, Sim Sanders Algeria shows its ambition to become the leader of the animal nutrition in the country by relying on the know-how of Sanders, leader of the animal nutrition in France, and the SIM Joint stock company Group, leader in the transformation of cereals in Algeria. This partnership reflects the company’s commitment to providing quality food with a clear mission: technical support and the provision of food solutions adapted to the needs and means of Algerian livestock breeders – to improve the management of herds and the quality of food (milk, white meat and red meat) – and the reduction of production costs – for a better profitability of the farms.
